Mapping, identifying and measuring on small objects with different and reflective surfaces is no longer a problem.
We have been using them in production lines for some time to check the correctness of the workings or, for example, the exact positioning and sizing of the “shapes”, and we entrust them with the visual and metric quality control of the work carried out by our machines and systems.
We are currently working on a double robotic arm to acquire and archive “3D digital fingerprints” of objects, which will be able to recognize the shapes and characteristics of the objects, report anomalies and take corrective actions independently combined with “deep learning” or” deep learning “.
COBOTs are the first current witnesses of an intelligent technology that has been able, in part for some time in other industrial sectors, to support us in daily work, allowing us to use the tools more easily: no compromise between severity in judgment and tolerance to variations. 4 eyes are better than 2 !
